I have lived in Hat Yai 6 years...Mae Hong Son 4 years...Nan 2 years & now I live in Phayao.

I WALK EVERYWHERE...

I have never owned or rented a car or motorcycle during the 13 years I have been living happily in Thailand. I have never purchased 1 litre of fuel or oil during this time.

In 1998 I Walked for Thailand with my Thai friend Boonchai Jinapirom (William)...We walked for 98 days through 32 provinces...A total distance of 3,063 kilometres. We did this to demonstrate our support and respect for the Thai Nation in difficult times, meeting the Thai people, giving them hope and encouragement, receiving a lot back and showing that walking is a simple, enjoyable and healthy exercise.

I have started creating City Walks in Thailand & they are included on my website...Escape to Thailand with Dennis Peacock.

These walks will be about 5 kms for Thai people and visitors to our country to enjoy the sights, sounds and culture, which makes Thailand so unique in the world.
